ACT! for Line 50 is the latest addition to the Sage product
range. Including all

the features and functionality of the
best selling ACT! contact management software, ACT! for Line
50 also integrates with Sage Line 50 accounts
ACT! for Line 50 helps you manage all the tasks and
information related to developing and maintaining business
relationships. It effectively integrates the three most
frequently used tools - a customer database, a calendar and a
task list.
ACT! for Line 50 is powered by ACT!, the Sage owned,
best-selling contact management software application used by
small business worldwide. The software has received several
awards in recognition of its user friendliness so you can be
sure you can get up and running quickly and keeps you focused
on running and growing your business

Integrates with Sage Line 50 accounts

from within the ACT! for Line 50 record screen. See the section
on Line 50 integration for further information.
Ready to use contact database - A
wizard guides you through the creation of your contact database
including predefined fields and layouts. Then begin recording
calls, meetings, to-dos, email, faxes, etc. Existing
information in other applications can be easily imported into
the database.
Fast, easy access to contact information
- You can quickly find the information you need. Just
type the first few letters of the contact's name, company,
phone number, or any other field and go directly to the contact
you want.
Effective management by group or account
- You can group contacts for more efficient management. For
example, a sales manager can group leads by region, or a small
business owner can group suppliers and business partners.
Efficient calendar and task management
- Easily schedule contact appointments and tasks. Look at tasks
in daily, weekly, and monthly views. View tasks, organised by
date, type, or priority. Reminders ensure you'll never forget
an important appointment, phone call, or to-do.

prospects into customers.
Easy communication with contacts -
Create instant letters, memos, and faxes to communicate with
contacts. Creating customised documents is simple using
Microsoft Word® or the built in word processor. Then, using
Mail Merge, send these communications and automatically record
them in the contact's history.

ACT! for Line 50 and Outlook working
together
Seamless integration with Microsoft Outlook is provided so you
can use Outlook for e-mail and scheduling of some activities,
and use Sage as your Contact Manager.
ACT! for Line 50 integrates with Sage Line 50* delivering to
the small business, integrated front office and back office
systems developed and supported by Sage.
The integrated solution provides the "big picture" where all
the relevant sales, marketing and financial information for any
contact is available at the click of a mouse button.
Data can be initially transferred from the existing sales
ledger into the contact manager database. Then, through the
accounting menu and tab, financial data can be displayed in the
contact record.
Credit limit, sales to date and outstanding debt information as
well as trading terms and discounts available are displayed.
Transactional information such as invoice numbers, details and
amounts owed and paid are also displayed.
Create Sales and Purchase Orders (when integrated with Sage
Line 50 Financial Controller).
Create quotations (when integrated with Sage Line 50 Financial
Controller and Accountant Plus).
